Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy is part of our Terms of Service and applies to everyone who uses Tacoter.

1. Prohibited Activities
- Illegal activity, including the sale of alcohol, cannabis or tobacco without required licensing and age verification.
- Fraud, money laundering, or processing payments for another business.
- Harassment, hate speech, threats, or content that exploits minors.
- Malware, phishing, credential stuffing, scraping, or attempts to bypass rate limits and security controls.
- Misrepresenting a business you do not own or operate, including false restaurant claims.
- Deceptive pricing, hidden fees, or menu content that misstates ingredients or allergens.
2. SMS and Email Rules
- Send marketing messages only to recipients who gave prior express written consent to that specific restaurant.
- Never send to purchased, rented, scraped or shared lists.
- Honor opt-outs (STOP, unsubscribe) immediately and permanently.
- Identify the sending restaurant clearly in every message and include a physical address in marketing email.
- Do not use misleading subject lines, sender names or link shorteners that hide the destination.
3. AI Content Rules
- Review every AI-generated description, image, reply and post before publishing.
- Do not publish AI images that misrepresent the actual dish, portion size or ingredients.
- Do not use AI to fabricate reviews, testimonials, awards or health claims.
- Do not use AI tools to generate content that violates any other part of this policy.
4. Enforcement
We may remove content, throttle messaging, suspend features, or terminate accounts that violate this policy. Serious violations — fraud, illegal content, or messaging abuse — may be actioned immediately and without notice, and may be reported to the relevant authorities or carriers.
