This guide will show you how to leverage AI to boost your restaurant's presence and connect with your customers.

What is Tacoter's Marketing AI?

Tacoter uses Artificial Intelligence to help you draft marketing content and campaigns. Our AI, often integrated with El Jefe Chat or appearing as AI draft suggestions, takes the heavy lifting out of content creation. It learns from your restaurant's information and your past campaigns to suggest relevant and appealing messages. You're always in control – the AI drafts, and you review and approve before anything goes live.

Getting Started with AI-Powered Marketing

To make the most of Tacoter's AI, ensure your restaurant's description is up-to-date. The AI uses this information to craft personalized and accurate messages.

1. Update Your Restaurant Description:
2. Sign in to your dashboard at tacoter.com/signin.
3. Navigate to Settings > Restaurant Description by clicking tacoter.com/dashboard/settings/description.
4. Fill in details about your cuisine, specialities, atmosphere, and any unique selling points. The more detail, the better the AI can tailor your content!
5. Click Save Changes.

Using AI for Social Media Posts

Our AI can help you whip up engaging posts for platforms like Facebook and Instagram in a flash.

1. Generate Social Media Posts:
2. From your dashboard, go to Marketing > Social Media Posts or click tacoter.com/dashboard/marketing/social-media.
3. Look for the "Generate with AI" button or an AI drafting prompt.
4. Provide a brief idea for your post (e.g., "new daily special", "weekend brunch", "customer appreciation").
5. The AI will draft several post options for you.
6. Review the drafts, edit as needed, and choose the one you like best.
7. Click Schedule or Publish Now.

Crafting Email and SMS Campaigns with AI

Email and SMS are powerful ways to reach your customers directly. Let AI help you create compelling messages.

1. Draft Email Campaigns:
2. Go to Email > Campaigns from your dashboard, or visit tacoter.com/dashboard/email.
3. Click "Create New Campaign" and look for AI drafting options.
4. Tell the AI the purpose of your email (e.g., "promote new menu item", "send a holiday greeting", "offer a discount").
5. The AI will generate email content, including subject lines.
6. Review, customize, and schedule your email.
7. Create SMS Campaigns:
8. Navigate to Marketing > SMS Campaigns or click tacoter.com/dashboard/marketing/sms.
9. Select "Create New SMS Campaign" and find the AI drafting feature.
10. Briefly describe your message (e.g., "flash sale on tacos", "reminder for reservation", "link to online ordering").
11. The AI will draft concise SMS messages.
12. Approve and send your SMS.

El Jefe Chat: Your On-Demand AI Assistant

El Jefe Chat is your go-to AI assistant for quick tasks and campaign drafting. It's available on any dashboard page.

1. Access El Jefe Chat:
2. Click the chat icon located at the bottom right of any page in your Tacoter dashboard (e.g., tacoter.com/dashboard).
3. El Jefe Chat will open, ready for your commands. It responds in English or Spanish, based on your language settings.
4. Draft Campaigns with El Jefe Chat:
5. Type your request, for example: "Draft a social media post about our happy hour specials from 4-6 PM." or "Create an email campaign promoting our new dessert menu."
6. El Jefe Chat will present its suggestions as a preview card.
7. Review the content carefully. Remember, nothing is sent or published until you confirm.
8. If you're happy with the draft, click Confirm. If not, you can ask for revisions or simply close the card; unconfirmed previews expire after 15 minutes.

Important AI Features to Remember

• You're in Control: AI drafts are just suggestions. Always review and approve content before it goes live.
• Preview Cards: For changes suggested by El Jefe Chat, you'll see a preview card. These changes only happen when you hit Confirm. Previews expire after 15 minutes if not confirmed.
• Undoing Actions: Most individual changes you make (or confirm through AI) can be undone within 24 hours from the action card in your dashboard. However, campaign drafts and job listings are exceptions – review them carefully before confirmation, as they cannot be undone automatically; you'll need to edit or delete them manually in their respective sections.
