Creating an SMS Campaign

Got a special offer? Want to tell your loyal customers about a new menu item? SMS campaigns are a fantastic way to reach your customers directly and get them excited about your taqueria! It's quick, easy, and incredibly effective.

What is an SMS Campaign?

Think of an SMS campaign as sending a text message directly to your customers' phones. It's a powerful tool for special announcements, daily specials, or anything that needs a quick push. Tacoter makes it super simple to craft your message, choose who receives it, and send it out right when it matters most.

We handle the tricky parts for you:

  • Only customers who have explicitly agreed to receive texts from you will get them. We respect their privacy!
  • Messages won't go out during late hours (quiet hours) or too often. We make sure your customers aren't bothered.
  • Recipients can always reply STOP if they no longer wish to receive texts.

  4. Schedule or Send Your Campaign

  6. Send Now: If your offer is hot and happening, choose to send the campaign immediately.

Tips for Great SMS Campaigns

  • Be Clear and Concise: Get straight to the point. What's the offer? How do they get it?
  • Create Urgency (Sparingly): Phrases like "Limited Time Offer!" or "Today Only!" can encourage quick action, but don't overdo it.
  • Include a Call to Action: Tell them what to do next! "Order now," "Visit us today," "Show this text."
  • Use Links: If you have an online ordering link or a special menu link, include it! Tacoter can often shorten these links for you automatically.
  • Test Your Message: Before sending, imagine receiving it yourself. Is it clear? Is it exciting?
  • Respect Quiet Hours: While Tacoter handles this automatically, try to send messages during peak dining times when people are thinking about food.
