Viewing the Order Board

Running a taqueria means juggling a lot! Tacoter’s Order Board is designed to give you a clear, real-time look at every order coming into your kitchen, whether it's from your website, a text, or even a phone call.

Your Main Order Board

This is your central hub for all online orders placed through your Tacoter website. It updates live, so you always see the latest.

  1. Log In: Go to your Tacoter dashboard.
  2. Navigate to Orders: On the left-hand menu, click on Orders. This will take you to your main order board.

Here, you'll see a list of all your incoming orders. Each order shows important details at a glance:

  • Status: See if an order is New, Preparing, Ready, Completed, or Cancelled. This helps you know what needs your attention.
  • Order Type: Quickly tell if it's a Pickup or Delivery order.
  • Items: A quick summary of what the customer ordered.
  • Customer Name & Phone: Who placed the order and how to reach them if needed.

When a New order comes in, Tacoter will give you a notification so you don't miss a beat!

Text Orders

Tacoter also helps you manage orders placed via text message. These have their own dedicated space.

  1. From the Orders section, look for a sub-menu or tab.
  2. Click on Text Orders.

Here, you’ll see all orders that came in through text. They will look similar to your online orders but will have a special badge indicating their source.

Voice (Phone) Orders

For those busy moments when you're taking phone orders, Tacoter can help keep them organized too.

  1. From the Orders section, look for a sub-menu or tab.
  2. Click on Voice Orders.

This section displays orders that were entered manually after a phone call. Just like text orders, they'll have a badge to show they originated from a voice call. This helps keep all your orders in one organized system, no matter how they come in!

Tips

  • Keep an Eye on Statuses: Regularly update order statuses (from New to Preparing, then Ready) to keep your kitchen team and customers informed.
  • Listen for Notifications: New orders trigger a notification. Make sure your dashboard is open or you have notifications enabled so you can respond quickly.
  • Stay Organized: Using the different order sections (Orders, Text Orders, Voice Orders) helps you manage all incoming business efficiently.
